can turn the right, less expensive guitar,
into a "killer axe". Which gives you more
"cash in hand" for other gear.

They Are" ...
We have some wild hot/cold/and wet weather changes at
times here in 'Bama ( It's usual - If you've lived here for
some time you know that )... And it happens elsewhere,
too... Some times of the year just bring that situation on.
Of course, that can affect your guitar or bass if you're
not careful. Sometimes it can affect it even if you ARE
careful. If your guitar or bass gets a little out of whack,
bring it in for a little tweakin'. It could make a lot of
difference.
Also, some players are under the impression that
because they just spent their next six months of house
rent or mortgage on a new axe, that it doesn't need to
be set-up. That's not necessarily true. We've had
customers bring in their new $5,000 guitars made by
well known brand name makers, and they still "don't
play or feel right". Sometimes they may still need a
minor or major set-up. There are a few reasons for this,
and we'll go into them at a later time. But the bottom
line is, if it doesn't seem like you're getting the ease
of play you're looking for out of your 'new' or "older"
guitar, bring it in, and I'm sure we can get your guitar
to play and feel like you think it should.
